26th May. The route covers about 80 miles and climbs about 4560 feet, starting with a visit to Faraid Head, then along the northern coast around Loch Eribol, across the Kyle of Tongue, past Bettyhill and Armadale to Strathy Point lighthouse, past Dounreay to Thurso and a B&B.
